Nadi shodhana is a breathing exercise intended to help bring balance and lift energy. It may be a helpful technique to try if you’re feeling depressed, having anxiety, or want to shift your energy to a more peaceful frequency. It’s also great for clearing the mind before meditation or concentration practice. Once this daily practice feels comfortable, consider increasing the benefits by holding both nostrils closed for as long as is comfortable after the inhales, and exhaling for twice as long as you inhale.
